Nina Momena was born in Kabul/Afghanistan (where she got her middle name, “Momena”) and raised in Berlin and Nairobi. She moved to New York City in 1999 to work as an Art Director at an advertising agency. After 16 years in NY, she moved to Miami Beach with her husband and kids to work as a freelance designer.
She always wanted to develop an affordable, everyday jewelry line that can be worn day and night: in the shower, to workouts or for night outs. She loves wearing jewelry, but doesn't love the idea of taking it off every night and putting it back on every morning. She is also allergic to most inexpensive metals which means she has to be careful what she wears and how she layers jewelry.
She loves working creatively and with her hands so she decided to go ahead and pursue her dream and launch an affordable, waterproof, sweatproof, rustproof and non-tarnish jewelry line.
She designs and assembles every piece herself – so the stock for each design can be limited.
